Sonochemistry in nanocatalysis: The use of ultrasound from the catalyst synthesis to the catalytic reaction

Abstract

This review succinctly describes the recent progresses in sonochemistry for the preparation of nanocatalysts as well as the use of ultrasound in organic reactions involving nanocatalysts. The main recent uses of power ultrasound in these fields reported here allow to determine some interesting trends and perspectives for this research, but also highlight some needs to innovate.
